About the Role:

As our Manager of Core Account Management, you are an accomplished professional with high performance standards, driven to succeed and be an integral part of a winning team. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of effectively retaining existing clients and driving substantial growth within your team’s designated territory. This role holds high visibility and entails leading a group of experienced Account Managers who serve our segment of high-potential clients. Your responsibilities include guiding the team towards achieving new and renewal revenue targets against an assigned quota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the overall team sales goal
  • Coach and motivate individual team members
  • Develop a high-performing team culture
  • Prepare team members for current and future opportunities
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop new team members for future growth
  • Analyze sales forecasts, pipelines, and data to determine appropriate actions to meet sales goals
  • Lead by example and promote a positive attitude and environment
  • Assist your team throughout their sales cycles by deeply understanding our customers’ needs and demonstrating how Cognism can add value
  • Participate in client-facing sales meetings to provide coaching opportunities for reps and gather client engagement and feedback
  • Partner with leadership to further define a successful and repeatable sales process
  • Be proactive in your approach to learning
  • Eight years of sales experience, including a minimum of two years in first-line sales management
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding quotas in a SaaS renewal and growth role
  • Exceptional mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast paced environments
  • Proven history of designing and implementing tactical sales initiatives through data-driven and empirical analysis
  • Strong proficiency in building high-level relationships with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a can-do attitude and agility, essential for thriving in a scale-up environment
  • Highly collaborative individual capable of motivating others effectively
  • Strong skills in prospecting, needs analysis, negotiation, and closing deals
