Summary of Role

We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Head of UX/UI to join our growing B2B SaaS company! As a key member of the Product leadership team, you'll be responsible for shaping the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) across all our products. You'll lead a talented team of designers, researchers, and UI/UX specialists, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our customers.

In this dynamic role, you'll wear multiple hats. You'll be a strategic leader, defining the UX/UI vision and roadmap. You'll be a hands-on designer, collaborating with the team on complex design challenges. You'll also be a champion for user-centered design, ensuring our products are intuitive, efficient, and solve real problems for our B2B users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the UX/UI design team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
  • Define the overall UX/UI vision and strategy, aligning with product goals and business objectives.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Translate user research into actionable design solutions, including information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Establish and maintain design standards, style guides, and best practices for user interface design.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest UX/UI trends and technologies, constantly innovating and improving our product's usability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of leading and scaling design teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in user research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI/UX design skills and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Passion for B2B SaaS products and a strong understanding of the B2B user landscape.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with B2B SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of user experience accessibility best practices (WCAG).
  • Experience with prototyping tools like InVision or Adobe XD.
  • A strong understanding of design thinking methodologies.
