The Role:

The role of an MDR at Mailtastic is to action all inbounds with the goal of qualifying them in or out appropriately and then converting them to attend a meeting with an account executive.

We have set out a clear qualification criterion that the MDR must adhere to when speaking to prospects to determine whether they are suitable to be booked in for a meeting.

Prospects will be run through an outreach sequence, which involve a combination of calling and emailing.

You will be expected to keep up to date with the product road map to allow you to convey as much as value as possible to each prospect.

Furthermore, you are expected to be meticulous in your salesforce and outreach admin to ensure nothing gets missed and that we are maximising every inbound lead.

You will also be expected to have an open loop of communication with the operations and marketing team to trouble shoot any problems that may arise and to optimise the inbound process to maximise revenue.

Key Responsibilities:


75% of you target is based on a conversion rate of the number of inbounds you receive, to how many of those successfully reach the discovery stage of an opportunity.

  • This conversion rate target will vary depending on region.

25% of your target is a percentage of the Marketing revenue achieved per quarter.

As an MDR at Mailtastic, you will:

  • Take ownership of all inbound leads and qualify them according to selected criteria
  • Guard our ICP by qualifying and out prospect which come through various marketing channels
  • Become our product expert to be able advice and inform our prospects on any product related questions
  • Run sales cadence for inbound leads with ultimate goal to book the meeting for AE
  • Identify the needs and interests of potential clients and build relationships with decision-makers in a variety of industries
  • Ensure a smooth start to the sales cycle following meeting booked
  • Maintain customer interactions and information in our CRM system to ensure efficient lead management
  • Take part in events, fairs, and presentations
  • Collect feedback from potential customers to help improve the sales organization and processes
