This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and data-driven marketing operations enthusiast who thrives in building cohesion between campaigns and processes and is not deterred by complexity. The Marketing Operations Manager will be part of the Global Business Operations team, and their contributions will be key to increasing operational efficiency, adding structure and consistency to the people-processes-technology that support Contrast’s overall marketing strategy.
This critical role reports to the VP of Business Operations. It requires regular communication and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, IT, and Data Privacy. It defines workflows, processes, and aligning resources that help each department reach a shared goal - delighting customers and business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure integrity of the marketing database by reviewing and managing contact data into appropriate segmentation, maintaining information integrity, and integrating subscription preferences with SFDC
  • Managing vendors and processes to ensure marketing operations meet SLAs
  • Relentlessly “follow the lead” to ensure correct attribution to the correct source and touches within marketing funnels and SFDC
  • Proactively identify funnel leakage and system inefficiencies that may be hindering data analysis and decision-making
  • Develop and manage necessary reporting for other departments within the Corporate Marketing, SDR organization, and other departments as requested
  • Import marketing department leads, contacts, and other data to meet SLAs
  • Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards in SFDC
  • Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration
  • Make recommendations on data quality improvements that can include process changes and vendor engagement
  • Own the administration of the marketing technology stack, which includes tool optimization, user management, and process oversight
  • Manage and update the partner portal as it relates to the SFDC integration
  • Manage, update, and triage lead routing in SFDC
  • The Marketing Operations role will bring cohesion to the following areas:
    Systems and Data Management
  • Own the marketing technology infrastructure, including implementation, feature enhancement, usability, tool optimization, user management, and process oversight
  • Implement privacy regulations across all marketing systems
  • Create scalable and repeatable processes for everyone
  • Creating documentation for all the above
  • Create and maintain marketing dashboards for weekly and quarterly reporting for different teams, different campaigns, and different projects - including Corporate Marketing, SDR organization, and other departments, as requested
  • Relentlessly “follow the lead” to ensure correct attribution to the correct source and touches within marketing funnels and SFDC
  • Proactively identify funnel leakage and system inefficiencies that may be hindering data analysis and decision-making
  • Email and CRM processes
  • Monitoring email deliverability and making recommendations based on performance
  • Managing email data for audience segmentation and optimizing email campaigns for critical stages of the customer journey
  • Managing CRM data for lead scoring, lead routing, campaign creation, opportunity attribution, and privacy
  • Liaising with engineering and data teams to fix bugs or implement new features in marketing automation tools
  • Setting up CRM and email automation to personalize email campaigns at scale
  • Maintaining email subscription and exclusion lists
  • Supporting email requests from across the company: creating templates, coding campaigns, loading them into the email tool, selecting the audience, and performing QA
  • Reviewing email campaign performance and making recommendations based on engagement and conversions
  • Project management
  • Providing training, user access, and provisioning of internal marketing tools
  • Developing workflows and best practices to help other teams execute projects

Qualifications

  • You LOVE data and looking and finding inaccuracies within that data
  • You have a good understanding of the demand generation lead funnel, including attribution modeling
  • You’re an analytics wizard who gets excited about automating accurate reports
  • You’re passionate about data hygiene and internalize the critical nature this plays in the overall success of a company
  • 2-3+ years experience with Hubspot and SFDC (we’d love to meet you if you have slightly less experience with the right attitude)

What We Offer
Salary and Other Compensation
This position's standard base pay range is $120,000 - $187,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider several factors: geography, skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
