Summary
We are currently recruiting for the role of Senior Business Consultant for Canada. This is a key role in the region, reporting to the Manager of Business Consulting in North America. The successful applicant will provide support across a range of customers and implementations, while also instilling FINEOS and industry best practices in the region amongst the business consulting team.
Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

- Planning and leading requirement workshops with clients.
- Demonstrating the FINEOS product to the client.
- Creating and maintaining solution through configuration first principles.
- Ensuring that all configuration is completed to FINEOS best practice.
- Ensuring all solutions are scalable for further versions or additional lines of business.
- Working with FINEOS team to ensure successful and timely delivery of solution.
- Communicating the client’s requirements to all stakeholders.
- Working with the project manager to estimate and plan project implementation.
- Provide product feedback and detail measurable opportunities for improvement.
- Sharing knowledge, influencing and providing direction to others within the Business Consultancy Practice by pro-actively pushing information out to the wider group.
- Excellent communicator, with an ability to set clear expectations around project delivery responsibilities for team.
- Forward thinking, with an ability to plan for future project demand and to identify team and individual skill requirements.
- Expertise in one or more lines of business FINEOS supports (Absence, Life, Disability, Supplemental, Policy, Billing, Employer Market.)
- Project implementations utilizing agile implementation methodologies and have been a key participant in all facets(hands-on,) including PI Planning, grooming, user story writing and delivery.
- Able to assess project risks, particularly around implementation process.
Education and/or Experience
- 10+ years of experience in a consulting and client-facing role.
- 10+ years of experience working within Life, Accident and Health Insurance Sector.
- 5+ years of experience working on software implementations in a leadership capacity.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experienced in providing regular project and team feedback, as well as measurable opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent Client Management and Influencing skills, with capacity to lead key planning, requirements & design workshops when necessary.
- Comfortable communicating and presenting to Senior Management (internal and external,)
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Success Factors, etc.
Language Skills
- Ability to speak the English language proficiently, both verbally and in writing.
Travel Requirements
- This position requires up to 20% travel including potential for international travel is required.

Work Requirements
- Compliance with all relevant FINEOS Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
Salary range - $100K - $132K
