Description

OFFOR Health, a leader in providing mobile healthcare services, is seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator to join our team, in Columbus Ohio, with the potential to expand to the broader state and intermittently travel to other regions when necessary. You will be a vital component in the successful delivery of our in-office healthcare service model, SmileMD, overseeing a broad spectrum of logistics and supply chain activities.

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Coordinator, your primary duties will include:

Supply Chain Management:

  • Work in tandem with the Logistics Team to identify, procure, and manage medical supplies and equipment.
  • Administer the Consolidated Maintenance Management System ("Fiix" CMMS) for medical equipment maintenance, repair, and record-keeping.
  • Engage with suppliers for timely delivery of medical supplies, managing backorders, and resolving any shipment discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment and Distribution:

  • Oversee the distribution of medical supplies to various hubs and offices, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. This will potentially involve driving a rental van intermittently and restocking hubs all around Ohio and surrounding states.
  • Facilitate purchase order tracking and reconcile any discrepancies between Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Accounting.
  • Coordinate medical gas ordering and delivery to meet clinical operational needs effectively.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all medical supplies and equipment comply with industry regulations such as FDA and ISO.
  • Remain updated on relevant regulatory changes and ensure all logistics activities are compliant.

Record-Keeping and Reporting:

  • Maintain meticulous records using the NetSuite Logistics Record database and "Fiix" CMMS.
  • Generate data-driven reports to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED; a two-year associate degree or higher, or equivalent military experience, is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, familiarity with inventory management systems like NetSuite & QuickBooks, and Consolidated Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like “Fiix.”
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
