Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate at OFFOR Health plays a critical role in the efficient and organized management of medical supplies, equipment, and inventory. They are responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping medical products while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming medical supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and efficient stock rotation.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process and fulfill orders accurately and promptly, picking and packing medical products for shipment in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify the quality and condition of incoming and outgoing medical products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists, shipping labels, and other required documentation. Coordinate with carriers and ensure timely and secure delivery of orders.
  • Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper care and maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe and accident-free work environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Data Management: Accurately record and maintain inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and stock adjustments, using warehouse management systems or other designated tools.
  • Organizational Support: Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, customer service, and sales, to fulfill customer orders and support company operations.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of obstructions, ensuring efficient workflow and easy accessibility to products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in warehouse operations and participate in implementing best practices.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or coursework in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse associate, preferably in a medical or healthcare-related setting.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of medical products, supplies, and equipment commonly used in healthcare facilities.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medical products and maintaining inventory records.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy boxes and equipment (up to a specified weight limit) safely.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-player attitude with good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and comply with relevant health regulations.
