We are looking for a Principal Program and Product Ops. Manager to lead our cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality products that meet our customers’ needs and expectations. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, and ensuring alignment with our business strategy and goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex SaaS projects, driving cross-functional collaboration, and implementing best practices in program management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our products and driving strategic initiatives to support the company's growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement program management processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure efficient and effective delivery of software products.
- Communicate program status, updates, and key milestones to executive leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the organization.
- Document and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and objectives across the organization
- Manage and coordinate multiple product programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget
- Establish and implement best practices, processes, and tools for product development, testing, deployment, and feedback
- Train team members on standards. Enforce and audit that the standards are being followed
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, features, and enhancements
- Analyze and report on product performance, user feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence
- Identify and resolve issues, risks, and dependencies that may impact product delivery or quality
- Monitor program performance, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes
- Mentor and coach product teams and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field; (or an equivalent combination of education and work experience)
- 8+ years of experience in program management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering software products or technology solutions on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of product and program management methodologies, frameworks, and tools such as agile, scrum, sprints, Kanban, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in managing complex, large-scale, and cross-functional product programs and projects
- Experience directly managing a PMO, project, program, portfolio managers, project analysts, etc
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively
- A bias towards action and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
