What you will do in this role 🧐

Join our content marketing team at Sendcloud as a talented and creative SEO native German Copywriter! You will play a crucial role in creating engaging and optimized GErman content that drives organic traffic, improves search engine rankings, and supports our content marketing and sales objectives. Your deep SEO knowledge, combined with your creative writing skills, will be instrumental in establishing the Sendcloud brand online, driving lead generation, and contributing to overall business growth. As a professional copywriter you seamlessly translate features into benefits, and find stories in spreadsheets. This position is based in Eindhoven or Munich, with hybrid working possibilities.

  • A real German text wizard who can do magic with the language, regardless of the topic, target audience and time frame
  • Has 3+ years of experience in a SEO copywriting or content marketing position, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • Has a proven track record of creating customer centric, compelling and converting copy for a variety of media.
  • Has excellent research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Understands SEO best practices and how to optimise copy, with and without AI tools
  • Thrives in a hardworking, hands-on environment, and remains resilient under pressure.
  • Possess an owner mentality and willingly immerse yourself in tasks, delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Can track and measure their own contribution to KPIs and are driven to achieve tangible outcomes.
  • Is creative in switching between different content formats and target audiences
  • Ability to translate tech jargon to human language that turns readers into customers

  • Bilingual work proficiency in Dutch, French, Spanish or Italian is a plus!
  • Skilled in using HubSpot, WordPress, and newsletter programs

Your main focus will be 🧐:

  • Translate the global brand voice and content strategy for the DACH market to achieve local organic growth and brand visibility
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities and trends in the industry
  • Ensure that the content is optimized for search engines, but written for the reader.
  • Produce high-quality, relevant, helpful content that is valuable for our audience
  • Masters the art of repurposing content into different formats, such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, and more.
  • Regularly audit the existing website content to identify content gaps and opportunities for improvement in terms of SEO, relevancy, and user experience.
  • Use SEO analytics tools, such as Semrush, MOZ or Ahrefs, to monitor the performance of content, track keyword rankings, and measure organic traffic growth. Prepare regular reports and analysis to assess the impact of SEO efforts and identify areas for improvement..
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to understand customer needs, product updates, and industry trends. Align your content creation with broader marketing initiatives and ensure consistency across all communication channels.
  • Guarantee the consistent use of our brand voice and timely delivery of your copy according to deadlines.
