We are seeking a Product Designer with demonstrated excellence in creating best-in-class products and beautifully designed user experiences to join our mission-driven team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative technology and possess a deep understanding of design systems, user experience, user research, interaction design, and prototyping.
As a Product Designer at Vida Health, you'll work on projects that leverage video, voice, AI/ML, large language models, and computer vision to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. You will be responsible for designing products from concept to launch, improving design systems, and working closely with cross-functional teams to create user-centric products that seamlessly incorporate the above technologies.

Collaborating closely with company leadership, engineering, data science, and clinical teams our design team has a direct impact on product roadmaps and strategies aimed at transforming healthcare. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and prototype exceptional user interfaces, interaction flows, and animations to provide best-in-class user experiences that incorporate innovative technologies.
  • Create and maintain design systems that promote innovation, accessibility, creativity, and scalability.
  • Ensure that design solutions are accessible, user-friendly, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of PMs, engineers, clinical experts, and organizational stakeholders to inform product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Actively participate in stakeholder design reviews to address constructive feedback to improve the quality of design work.
  • Be a relentless user advocate and care deeply about bringing clarity, delight, and ease of use to the experiences you design, building for users of every walk of life.
  • Deeply understand the service design elements associated with users’ health journeys to ensure they are addressed in the user experience design.
  • Keep abreast of emerging design trends, technologies, and techniques in design and healthcare.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5+ years of experience on a product design team, building digital product experiences for mobile and/or web. Agency or in-house experience on top creative teams may also apply.
  • Portfolio of case studies that demonstrates exceptional design skills, experience creating best-in-class products, excellence in strategic thinking, and developing interactive prototypes.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Framer, and Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of design systems, typography, color theory, and user-centered design principles.
  • Deep understanding of maintaining and developing design systems.
  • Experience designing for measurable outcomes including the ability to participate in both generative and evaluative user research.
  • Working and collaborating with agile teams in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to understand complex systems and data to derive actionable insights
  • Work remotely, independently, and in a team environment while managing time effectively.
  • Adjust to ambiguity and change during a project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
