Use your engineering experience to help people live healthier

Wellth is a fast-growing digital health startup headquartered in Los Angeles that recently raised a Series B from leading investors, including SignalFire. Our mission is to provide daily care motivation to people living with chronic conditions so they can make healthier choices every day.

We don’t assume that just providing a tool or a beautiful app will get results. We use behavioral economics, habit science, and technology to motivate and sustain behavior change in some of the US's highest-need and most underserved populations (think Medicaid and Medicare), drastically changing their quality of life and health outcomes. We have demonstrated results with several large insurers and health systems (e.g., reducing hospitalizations by over 40%) and are scaling the company and team. We aim to be the category leader in improving health outcomes for hard-to-engage populations.

Our work saves lives every day. We are a mission-driven company where you work with incredible talent and see tangible differences directly from your impact and influence.

You have the opportunity to build systems that drive daily healthy habit experiences.

Some of the problems you’ll work on include:

  • Determining the best population to select for an invitation to use our mobile application,
  • Deciding the prioritization of which patients our acquisition staff should contact and
  • Designing a cost-effective solution for enriching our data with 3rd-party marketing and CRM sources.

Specifically, you will:

  • Design, build, test, launch, and operate services that work with healthcare data that integrate with Wellth’s marketing acquisition, Salesforce CRM, and business-critical systems.
  • Design and implement components that automate our sophisticated marketing outreach system
  • Tune existing Salesforce flow and Apex components to support
  • Deliver scalable and highly-available systems that are supported by operational excellence best practices.
  • Develop shared scripts and tooling, share knowledge via documentation and tech talks, and change existing SDLC processes to improve and contribute to developer experience.
  • Own the solutions for Wellth’s business challenges, such as
  • Protect members’ privacy by following secure SDLC guidelines to maintain our HITRUST certification.

You will be a member of a diverse and supportive team.

You will work with:

  • Marketing acquisition roles to understand how to improve the systems to meet their marketing and acquisition needs.
  • Product Managers to ideate and groom potential new service capabilities and discuss new business challenges to solve.
  • Data engineers to work on loading and transforming data for the services we own.
